Get ready for an afternoon of sassy jazz, swinging blues and seriously good-time music when Bonnie Kay & the Sweet Patooties take the stage at the Central Coast Jazz League.

Fronted by the captivating Bonnie Kay, this dynamic five-piece all-female band brings together some of Sydney's finest veteran musicians. Their infectious mix of 1920s and ’30s jazz and blues, swinging rhythms, rockabilly, country and original songs makes for an afternoon that is as entertaining as it is musically impressive.

Expect four-part harmonies, hot horn lines, outstanding solos and a red-hot rhythm section. The Sweet Patooties don't simply recreate the sounds of the past—they bring their own personality, humour and energy to every performance.

The band features Bonnie Kay on lead vocals and guitar, Carolyn Packer on piano and vocals, Claire Hollander on trumpet and vocals, Catherine Golden on bass and vocals, and Katie Glendenning on drums.

With appearances at festivals including the Newcastle Jazz Festival, Kangaroo Valley Folk Festival, Girrakool Blues Festival and Blue Mountains Blues & Jazz Festival, the Sweet Patooties have built a reputation for lively, engaging performances that get audiences tapping their toes and heading for the dance floor.

Come along, bring your friends, and enjoy three hours of fabulous live music, dancing and fun.
