Led by the "Queen of Boogie-Woogie" herself, Carolyn Packer's Stompin' Rhythm Aces are one of Australia's most celebrated traditional jazz and blues ensembles.

The group was born out of Bill Dudley's New Orleanians; when Dudley relocated to Cairns, the musicians chose to reform under Packer's energetic leadership. Known for seamlessly blending classic New Orleans jazz, hot swing, blues, and soul, the band infuses traditional tunes with Packer's trademark powerful left-hand piano grooves and soulful vocals. With two highly acclaimed albums under their belt—There'll Be Some Changes Made and Sweet Substitute—they remain a beloved fixture across festivals and live music venues nationwide.
